South African Independent wine bloggers
As promised we bring you the follow-up to our South Africa Pioneer Wine Bloggers post from a few weeks ago. This time around we looked at new(ish) bloggers who write mostly about wine, while not promoting some kind of business with it. Basically these peeps just love to drink and write about wine.
We also re-looked our listing method and for this list we took a number of points into consideration. We looked at the content of their blogs but also added things like twitter updates, google rankings as well as the value of their blog according to http://stimator.com. After adding it all to a spreadsheet grinder, we end up with the list below.

Two wine enthusiasts, Nicholas Knott and Donovan Abrey, are so passionate about drinking fantastic South African wine, they’ve created a blog to document their wine experiences! Unfortunately they are a bit slow on the publish button.

Wine Sommelier Extraordinaire, Migual Chan, needs little introduction. If you are the kind of wine lover that humps Chateau Petrus like some over excited Mini-Me before opening it, you will love Migual’s blog. Its packed with tasting notes and serious wine stuff. Sniffers and Sippers welcome.
