Also known as “Cool-hand” Luke, this weeks hottie is the winemaker at Glenelly Estate outside Stellenbosch. This adventurous hunk is a true jetsetter and enjoys discovering interesting places and meeting new people. The colour of his eyes pulls you in like the ocean, while his seductive smile captures your heart. To top it all Luke has a great sense of humour, which makes him dreamingly delicious.

A: I’m engaged and getting married in December.
Q: If you were a type of wine, what variety would you be?
A: Shiraz
Q: What’s your favourite Glenelly wine?
A: Grande Vin
Q: Share a secret of Glenelly that we probably don’t know?
A: There are no secrets here.
Q: If you could be born into history as any famous person who would it be and why?
A: Horatio Nelson because he had great determination in the face of adversity, was an incredible leader and very innovative. He also looked for new ways to achieve things – he thought outside the box.
Q: Are you a morning person or a night person?
A: Both
Q: Do you think people should eat the fish they catch, or just let them go?
A: Be aware of what you catch and don’t eat a fish that’s on the endangered species list.
Q: What would you do in life if money was not a constraint?
A: I’d look for extreme challenges like trekking across Antartica or climbing Everest. I’d also love to do the Silk Route.
Q: Have you ever thrown up in a car?
A: No
Q: Who was your first love?
A: Natalie was my first crush at prep school. But my first love is my wife-to-be Helen.
Q: Do you dance crazy when no one’s looking?
A: I don’t dance. Much.
Q: If you could take a year off an go travelling, where would it be?
A: I would do the Silk Route and then travel around Asia.
Q: You can only put one thing on your sandwich. What will it be?
A: Butter
