Don’t miss the party of the year: The Cape Town Festival of Beer

With so many festivals on the events calender it’s hard to decide which once to attend. When it come to Cape Town’s Festival of Beer however, it’s a no-brainer. 

Cape Town’s Festival of Beer is one of the coolest alcohol related festivals on South Africa’s events calender, apart from the Box Wine Awards of cause icon smile Dont miss the party of the year: The Cape Town Festival of Beer

Date: 25 November – 27 November 2011
Time: Gates open at 12H00 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This year visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to clench their thirst with almost 100 different beer brands from around the globe. The record breaking number of home, micro and mega brewers participating in the festival makes this event the biggest beer expo in the country.

Some of this year’s confirmed breweries include; SAB, Robsons, Brewers & Union, Brew Dog, Gallows Hill, Triggerfish, Camelthorn, Darling Brewery, Bavaria, Corona, Napier, Jack Black, Paulaner, Mitchells, Royal Mzansi, Devils Peak Brewing, Fosters, Erdinger, Liefmans, Oettinger, Cobra, Tiger, Singha, Duvel, Maredsous, Valentines and many more.

More good news is that Cape Town Tourism have come on board as an official partner for 2011 and will work with the Cape Town Festival of Beer in growing, and marketing the beer industry as a whole in the Western Cape. For them it’s of the utmost importance to unlock the many layers of Cape Town’s stories and assist to bring an offering of authentic experiences to travellers and citizens alike.

This year’s festival will include; beer tastings, beer sales, lucky draws, brewing demos and competition, specialist food stalls, braaing competitions, top live entertainment, the Oompah Bands and much more.

Mark your calendars! The 2nd Annual Cape Town Festival of Beer will take place November 25-27, 2011 at Hamiltons RFC, Green Point. To avoid the queues, book your tickets at www.webtickets.co.za.
